US BANK PUTS MONEY WHERE ITS HEART IS
$15,000 Grant to Salvation Army Going Directly Toward Covid-19 Relief in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA. (Aug 13, 2020) - - Since the middle of March, The Salvation Army California South has provided more than 4 million meals and tens of thousands of hygiene kits to people in need throughout Los Angeles County and beyond. It has also provided thousands of N95 masks and other and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to first responders in an unending effort to meet the growing need during this unprecedented pandemic. None of this work can go forward without the commitment from individuals, organizations and socially conscious corporations.
One of those essential corporations with a social conscious is US Bank. Its $15,000 grant to The Salvation Army for Covid-19 relief in Los Angeles County has allowed The Salvation Army to serve more people in need in these unprecedented times. “We can’t do the work we do without the kind of support US Bank has provided us in the past and is providing us to meet the challenges of today,” said Lt. Colonel John Chamness, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army’s California South Division. “It not only helps us provide food for the body but hope for the soul.”
