Overcoming homelessness, thanks to you.
“I appreciate The Salvation Army.” – Diamond
When Diamond first stepped into The Salvation Army, Riverside Corps, she was a single mother with four daughters. They were homeless and she was hoping to find fulltime employment. Armed with an associate degree in cosmetology, Diamond hoped to obtain a California license to practice her craft.
The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope program provided not just emotional support but connected Diamond with tangible resources like diapers and grocery gift cards.
Hard work and hope
After working two jobs and saving money, Diamond was finally able to find an apartment. It was a breakthrough that meant she could begin building a better life for her family. Thanks to neighbors like you, The Salvation Army was able to help during this transition and offer help with groceries and other vital resources.
When we help neighbors overcome challenging times, we make our communities better and help families grow stronger. Thank you for helping us do the most good.
