Homelessness

Providing care and aid for those living on the fringes of society is at the heart of The Salvation Army's mission. Our officers, staff, and volunteers work with individuals every day on Skid Row and throughout Southern California, to help them out of homelessness and along a path to recovery.

Individuals who seek help through The Salvation Army programs receive a holistic approach. We provide individuals with physical, emotional and spiritual support to help them make the changes necessary to transform their own life. In fact, a number of our key senior program staff have graduated from our programs and now lead productive self-sufficient lives.

Programs are located in Santa Ana, Buena Park, Tustin, Bell, Santa Fe Springs, three locations in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and San Bernardino.

We don't do it alone! The Salvation Army is proud of our numerous collaborative partners who ensure that we provide each client with comprehensive support and address their individual needs. The Salvation Army staff work hand-in-hand with other community groups to provide each client with the services and supportive safety-net needed to give an individual the opportunity to make necessary life changes.
